Licor 43 – 0.7 l and 1 l

Liqueur from Cartagena made to a recipe of 43 ingredients — citrus fruits, vanilla and spices, the exact composition unpublished. The vanilla dominates so clearly that the liqueur is often bought for that alone.

In the glass

Vanilla first, with orange and a warm spice note behind it. Sweet and viscous, with distinct citrus freshness on the finish.

Serving

The Canarian barraquito: Licor 43, condensed milk, espresso and milk foam in layers. Neat over ice with lemon zest.
