Opthimus Rum Solera 15 – 0.7 L

Rum from the Dominican Republic, matured by the solera method. Against the Solera 25 the solera here is shorter, which leaves the rum fresher and less dense. The number denotes the solera, not a minimum age.

In the glass

Caramel and vanilla, with banana and a light oak tone. Less heavy than the Solera 25, with a shorter finish.

Serving

Neat, or over one large cube. A better base for a rum Old Fashioned than the Solera 25.
