Sambuca Madruzzo – 0.7 L

Sambuca in the Italian style, with star anise and elderflower. At 38% ABV it sits at the upper end of the category — noticeably stronger than the usual 30% anise liqueurs.

In the glass

Sweet anise with liquorice and a note of elderflower. The higher strength keeps it clearer and less syrupy.

Serving

Con la mosca with three coffee beans, or ice-cold and neat. With water it turns milky — the effect of the essential oils.
