Carlos I Brandy de Jerez Solera Gran Reserva – 0.7 L

Brandy de Jerez at Solera Gran Reserva level — the highest of the three permitted grades. It matures by the solera method in casks that previously held sherry: younger brandy is moved on into older casks over and over.

In the glass

Dried fruit and nuts from the sherry cask, with vanilla and a fine woody spice. Long, warm finish.

Serving

Neat in a snifter at room temperature, after a meal. Too good to mix.
