Alpenschnaps Steinbeisser Obstler – 1 L

Obstler from Austria, based on apple and pear distillate. Unlike a pure fruit brandy it is lightly sweetened, which makes it milder — which is why in Austria it is usually drunk as a schnapps after a meal rather than as a digestif brandy.

In the glass

Apple and pear clearly recognisable, with a light sweetness and a warm, short finish.

Serving

Ice-cold in small glasses after a meal. At room temperature the sweetness comes forward too strongly.
