Opthimus Rum Solera 25 – 0.7 L

Rum from the Dominican Republic, matured by the solera method: younger rum is moved on into older casks again and again, so the vintages blend. The number 25 denotes the solera — it is not an age statement in the sense of a minimum age.

In the glass

Caramel, cocoa and dried fruit, with oak spice and a hint of tobacco behind them. Soft and distinctly sweet.

Serving

Neat at room temperature, without ice. A rum where cola only masks the aromas.
