Johnnie Walker Red Label – 0.7 L

Blended Scotch drawn from around 35 whiskies. Unlike Black Label, Red Label was designed from the outset to stand up to mixers — which is why the bolder, younger components are deliberately kept to the front.

In the glass

Pepper and cinnamon, with malt sweetness and a smoky edge behind them. Assertive, with a short, spiced finish.

Serving

As a highball with soda or ginger ale, where its bite becomes structure. It was never meant to be drunk neat.
