Johnnie Walker Black Label – 0.7 l and 1 l

Blended Scotch drawn from around 40 whiskies, none of them younger than twelve years. The Islay components carry the smoke, the Speyside malts the sweetness — the ratio between them is what makes Black Label.

In the glass

Dried fruit and vanilla, with a clear but never dominant smokiness above them. Long, spiced finish.

Serving

Neat, or with a drop of water to open the aromas. Over ice it loses some of its smoky depth.
