Alpenschnaps Steinbeisser Marille – 1 L

Apricot liqueur from Austria. “Marille” is the usual Austrian word for the fruit — the best known come from the Wachau valley. The liqueur is lightly sweetened, which makes it milder than a straight apricot brandy.

In the glass

Ripe apricot, clear and without any candied note. Sweet, with a fine kernel bitterness on the finish.

Serving

Ice-cold in small glasses after a meal. Also over vanilla ice cream, or poured into prosecco.
